Intersection Celebrates 50 Years of Bay Area History Through Music & Spoken Word. Over the past five decades, Intersection for the Arts has played a unique role in the development of the Bay Area arts community by presenting an incomparable array of groundbreaking, multi-disciplinary, cultural programming from a diverse array of both emerging and established performing, literary and visual artists. On Saturday, September 12, 2015, Intersection celebrates 50 years of continuous service to Bay Area artists and audiences with "The Circle", commemorating its extraordinary past and showcasing the next generation of artists who will shape the cultural landscape of tomorrow. Meklit joins the party with an orchestral arrangement of Waiting for Earthquakes, arranged by Anais Azul.
